This painting is based on memories of the homes I grew up in while living as a young child in the Netherlands. The colour’s are extracted from old photographs from the late 80’s and early 90’s which were taken while we were based there. The drawing is fragmented and layers are sanded back to represent old photographs and memories that are beginning to fade.
