This painting explores the boundaries (both physical and psychological – tangible and intangible) that we negotiate every day. The painting began with a recognisable 3D architectural drawing of my studio. Parts of the drawing were etched into the board with a sharp point and paint was layered over and over, then wiped back to reveal a ghostly image that appeared through the process.
