This project began by deconstructing the home (a familiar environment that we are intricately connected to) in a bid to uncover hidden possibilities and evoke the abstract nature of space. Diagrams mapping various spatial and formal relationships were etched on to one side of the painted glass surface. With the unrefined and instinctive addition of colour, an underlying and unintentional pattern emerged resulting in two unique yet interdependent variations of the same site, revealed by opening and closing the window.
